About Me

Senior marketing student passionate about teamwork, shooting sports, and the outdoors.

About Me

I’ve always been someone who likes to see how things work from the ground up. Whether I’m troubleshooting the 6.5L Detroit Diesel engine in my ’98 K2500, building a high-performance PC, or managing the "back-of-house" heartbeat of a regional supply chain, I thrive in roles that require both a strategic mind and a hands-on approach.

My Journey at UNR

I am currently finishing my senior year as a Marketing student at the University of Nevada, Reno. While my degree has given me a foundation in data and market strategy, my real education has happened in the warehouse and the community. I am proud to maintain a 3.043 GPA and have consistently earned a spot on the Dean’s List at the UNR College of Business.

Outside of class, I am an active member of Alpha Sigma Phi. I also spent two years in the U.S. Army R.O.T.C. during my Freshman and Sophomore years. That experience was pivotal for me; it instilled a deep respect for professional standards and the kind of mission-oriented discipline I carry into every job I take.

The Technical Side of My Hobbies

I believe that the way you do one thing is the way you do everything. I apply the same level of precision and detail to my personal interests as I do to my professional work:

  • Technical Precision: I enjoy the focus required for competitive and tactical shooting. It’s a hobby built on extreme attention to detail, safety, and equipment maintenance—skills that translate directly to a professional environment.

  • Mechanical Grit: You can usually find me in the garage on weekends. Maintaining my own truck has taught me more about problem-solving and persistence than any textbook ever could.

  • Strategic Thinking: Whether I'm building a complex Warhammer 40K army or planning a multi-day hunting or fishing trip, I love the logistics and strategy required to pull everything together for a successful outcome.

  • The Art of the Prep: I’ve found that high-level cooking—like perfecting surf and turf or scallops—is all about timing and "mises en place". It’s the same philosophy I use in logistics: if the preparation is right, the execution is seamless.

However, my greatest source of pride is my girlfriend, who earned a degree in neuroscience and is pursuing medical school.
